Patient's Query

Hi doctor

My girlfriend had her last period a few days ago. Yesterday, we became very intimate, and I used condoms, though there was no penetration. Afterward, I masturbated, removed the condoms, and washed my hands. Following that, I licked her vagina. Now, I am concerned that sperm inside the condom may have touched my hand during removal, even though I washed my hands. I did not touch her vagina directly; I may have touched the vulva area. I did not insert my finger into her vagina, only licked her. Is this considered safe?

Hi,

I am glad you chose icliniq for your medical-related queries.

I understand your concern and will try to help you with it.

Based on your description, the likelihood of pregnancy in such situations is very rare. Additionally, considering her regular menstrual cycles, yesterday falls within her safe period, further minimizing the possibility of pregnancy. Therefore, there is no need to worry or stress; the chances of pregnancy from this act are low.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thanks for the reply.

Her periods started before we expected. This can be considered fairly regular. The activity in question occurred last month. Concerns arose because, despite washing my hands, there might be some remaining sperm. Importantly, there was no penetration; I might have touched her vulva.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

One week fluctuation in periods is considered normal. According to her cycle dates, it appears regular, and the activity on the last month falls within what is typically considered a safe period with minimal risk of pregnancy. Considering the use of a condom, and the fact that sperm can only survive for about 5 minutes outside the human body, even if there were any sperm on your hands, they would likely be considered non-viable. Therefore, I can assure you that the chances of pregnancy from this situation are low. It is worth noting that stress can contribute to variations in menstrual cycles, so if she is under stress, it might impact the regularity of her periods.
