Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am getting married soon. Recently there has been some issue between me and my fiancé. My fiance has sent screenshots of all our discussions to his parents and uncle. This has been done for the second time after we said yes to each other. Now I am very much tensed as I am thinking that maybe I am not ready to get married and also thinking like whether I have done any mistake by saying yes to the guy. It is an arranged marriage and we met just once. The guy is staying abroad and we used to talk on calls and on messages. I do not know what to do. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

In my view, the issue is not peculiar. This does happen nowadays. This is very early for you to assess your fiance. He could also be having the same mindset as you of being insecure. That could be one reason for his present behavior. Secondly, any behavior will change according to your and your fiance's circumstances. So do not worry. But sharing personal moments between you and your husband is not a good practice. I suggest you talk to him regarding this. I recommend online counseling for you.

Take care.

Regards.
