What could cause premature ejaculation?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

When I engage in sexual activity with my partner, I achieve orgasm after just two to three strokes. Is this an issue related to premature ejaculation or erectile dysfunction? I do not have any problems with erections. Should I use any medication?

Please help.

Answered by Dr. Surabhi

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

The issue seems to be related to premature ejaculation, as you mentioned that you do not have any problems with erection. There are many possible causes for premature ejaculation, and treatment will depend on identifying the specific cause. I recommend scheduling an appointment so we can discuss your situation in detail, confirm the diagnosis, and ensure you receive the appropriate treatment.

Thank you.
