Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I got inflammation in my penis after having sex. It has stayed for ten days, with no discharge but itching around the crotch. Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. Please help me with a few details so that we can get to the bottom of your concerns: Are you diabetic or hypertensive? Was this sexual contact with your regular partner or with someone new? Did you use a condom? How long after the sexual intercourse did the lesion appear? Where exactly on your penis is this lesion? Is it one lesion or multiple? Are there any ulcers? Are you circumcised? If not, is there any difficulty in retracting your foreskin? Do you have trouble passing urine like urgency, burning sensation, or pain while peeing or straining to pee? Also, I request you post a better-quality photo.

I hope this information will help.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thanks for the reply.

No, I am not diabetic. Yes, it was sexual contact with my regular partner. No, I did not use a condom. I could see a slight dryness on the skin before but not red or inflamed. Just after sex, it was inflamed and red, and the inflammation disappeared the same day, but the red color stayed. Multiple lesions are there. No, there any no ulcers. Yes, I am circumcised. No trouble passing urine like urgency, burning sensation, pain while peeing, or straining to pee.

Thanks.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. I do not think it is a STI (sexually transmitted infection), but rather some form of dermatitis that has happened. I suggest you apply ointment for two weeks and revert to me to let me know if you have any benefit from it. 1. Ointment Beclamethasone, and Neomycin twice a day. Moisturizer for dry skin twice a day. Apply the first cream in the morning, the second in the afternoon, and then repeat in the evening and before bed.

I hope this information will help.

Thanks.
