I have a receding hairline. What regrowth treatment works?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a boy, and when I look in the mirror, it seems like my hairline is receding. When I see my friends, I get to confirm that my hairline is receding. I am so concerned about it.

I want to know about it. Can you please suggest to me some diet changes I should make, what supplement I should take, shampoo usage, and any kind of serum I should use?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

I am very sorry about your medical condition and I am glad that you are paying attention to changes in your body system. But do not worry. I am here to take care of you.

Regarding your symptoms, I believe you have developed an alopecia due to hormone imbalance or vitamin deficiency.

I suggest you do the following test:

  1. Testosterone level test.

Reply to me with the result.

I advise you to do the following:

  1. Topical 0.1 % Minoxidil (vasodilators) cream twice daily for one month.

  2. tablet Centrum (vitamin and minerals) 500 mg to be taken orally for one month.

Reply to me if you have more concerns or questions by scheduling a direct appointment or following up via chat, phone, or video consultation. Thanks for using icliniq and have a nice day.

Kindly consult a specialist doctor, discuss with them, and take medications with their consent.

I hope this helps.

Thank you.
