Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 23-year-old. Someone asked me to drink red wine for fairness. Is it true? How much quantity I want to take daily. And my brother brought some local red wine. So is it advisable to have it (rose berry red wine)? Kindly give your opinion.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Firstly, I would like to let you know that the myth of consumption of red wine resulting in fairness is untrue. But, red wine does have other advantages:

1) Having a glass of red wine, which is about one-third of a wine glass daily at night, helps you get really good sleep, and getting good sleep results in better health and better mood and therefore better skin.

2) It helps with good circulation, resulting in blood flow to organs, helping it function well, and eventually helps in good blood circulation to your skin resulting in healthy skin.

3) Hypothetically, it has been known for its anti-aging properties.

4) It helps in better digestion and weight loss.

Having said this, I would like to advise that the above benefits only apply if it is taken the quantity I have mentioned. But anything more than that would cause more adverse effects than the benefit. Good luck, stay happy, healthy, and positive.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
