Sarcoidosis is a disorder that is characterized by the growth of granulomas (collection of inflammatory cells), mainly in the lungs and lymph nodes. It can also affect the heart, eyes, kidneys, and nervous system. Depending on the organ affected, symptomatic treatment is done.
