Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have a dry scalp and dry hair. I have noticed patches of yellow dandruff across my scalp. I have noticed red and scaly yellow patches on my scalp, along with itchiness.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

It is Seborrheic capitis. I suggest you consult a specialist and take the below-mentioned medications with their consent. Wash the area with Ketoconazole shampoo on alternate days for ten days, then thrice weekly for four weeks, then twice weekly for two weeks. Apply Mometasone cream or lotion at night for 10 days. Take tablet Teczine-M (Levocetirizine and Montelukast) once at night after food for 7 days. Moisturize the area with a mild lotion three to four times daily for 20 days. Avoid scratching and rubbing the lesions. Keep the area clean.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
