Secondary infertility is when a couple is not able to conceive now but have had a child before. It can be due to male or female infertility, and both the partners have to be examined to find the cause. Some of the reasons are impaired sperm production, damaged fallopian tube, endometriosis, scarring during a previous pregnancy, etc.
