My wife is unable to conceive after an abortion. Why?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

We are trying to conceive for the past two years. My wife had an abortion two years back during the second month of her pregnancy. The doctor said both of our reports are normal (HSG and sperm count). My wife underwent IUI two months back without any luck. She is taking Fertisure F and Dubagest SR, and I am on Alivher. Please help us out.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com. There are many causes for difficulty in conceiving. They are as follows. Intrauterine adhesions. Adhesions around fallopian tube. Genital tuberculosis. Sperm quality.Weight gain. Endometriosis, etc.I would suggest you consult a gynecologist and resolve any of these causes of secondary infertility.
