Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I currently have the following skincare products:

  1. Hyaluronic serum
  2. Sleeping night oil
  3. Lactic acid treatment
  4. Vitamin C serum
  5. Niacinamide and zinc serum
  6. AHA BHA PHA clear pad
  7. All-kill cream
  8. Micellar cleansing water

In my current routine, I use cleansing water, niacinamide, and vitamin C with SPF in the morning. In the evening, I use cleansing water, hyaluronic acid, retinol, lactic acid, and moisturizer. I am looking to create a morning and night skincare routine using these products, but I am unsure which combinations work best and which should not be used together. Please clarify.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com. Thank you for reaching out to us.

I would suggest the following morning and night skincare routine using the products you listed:

Morning routine:

  1. Cleanse your face with the calming micellar cleansing water.
  2. Apply a few drops of the hyaluronic serum to hydrate your skin.
  3. Follow up with the vitamin C serum to brighten and even out your complexion.
  4. Apply a moisturizer of your choice, or use the all kill cream as a moisturizer if needed.
  5. Finish with a broad-spectrum sunscreen to protect your skin from UV (ultraviolet) rays.

Night routine:

  1. Start by removing makeup and cleansing your face with micellar cleansing water.
  2. Use the clear pad to gently exfoliate your skin 2-3 times a week or as recommended.
  3. Apply the hyaluronic serum to hydrate your skin.
  4. Follow up with the lactic acid treatment to exfoliate and brighten your skin.
  5. On alternate nights, use the sleeping night oil for nourishment and rejuvenation.
  6. Finish with the all kill cream as your moisturizer.

Kindly remember to patch test new products, especially if you have sensitive skin, and discontinue use if you experience any irritation. The Niacinamide and zinc serum can be incorporated into your routine either in the morning or at night after cleansing and before applying other serums. Niacinamide can help regulate sebum production and improve the appearance of pores.

I hope this helps you.

Thank you.
