Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I found a strange rash on my back. I have photos. I discovered this on my back two nights ago in the mirror when I lay down on this spot and felt uncomfortable so I checked.

Patient's Query
Thank you doctor,
I see some blood on the undershirtI wore yesterday and last night. It is in the area of the rash. (photo attached). It is not bleeding when I see it in the mirror, so either it bled at one time, or maybe I irritated it during my sleep by rolling on it and it bled then. It hurts a bit when I lie on that part of my back. I do not think it is warm. No outings are other than a walk outside my home. It is the only one.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
There are two possibilities:
Either way, it is a bacterial infection. So, I suggest the application of T-Bact cream (Mupirocin 2 %) twice daily. You will need a course of oral antibiotics (capsule Amoxicillin 500 mg TDS dose for five days). Consult a specialist doctor, discuss with him or her, and start taking the medicines with their consent. If there is no improvement with oral and topical medications after three to five days, then test for pus swab culture and sensitivity can be done.
