Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have been suffering from chronic rhinitis for the past two years. After taking homeopathic help for the past six months, the condition is a bit better but not up to what I expected. The things that trigger my sneezing and cold are a change in the temperature, like air conditioners and room temperature, eating oranges and lemons, and eating anything cold like ice cream, cold drinks, etc. Please help.
Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Your rhinoscopy nose examination also should be done to check polyps, deviated nasal septum, etc., like pathology, if present. These conditions can lead to repeated rhinitis. You can avoid colds as you have an allergy to them. In an excess cold climate, you can wear hot clothes. Citrus fruits are good for allergy. You can take one teaspoon of turmeric powder with milk daily. During allergic rhinitis, you can be prescribed Fexofenadine tablet course which is an anti-allergic medication. It is better to consult an otorhinolaryngologist for examination and, accordingly, further management.
I hope this helps.
Please revert so I can assist you further.
Thank you.
