I advise you to answer the following questions to guide you further.

  1. Do you suffer from reflux in the form of a burning sensation in your chest or your stomach?
  2. Do you suffer from a bitter taste in your throat when waking up in the morning?

Kindly attach a photo of the throat taken with a flash and open mouth.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

I do not have a reflux and cannot attach a photo at the moment. Kindly suggest.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

I advise you to follow the below-mentioned instructions.

  1. Take an antibiotic (Amoxicillin and Clavulinic acid) 1 gram twice daily.
  2. Take tablet Brufen (Ibuprofen) 400 mg twice daily as an anti-inflammatory and analgesic for a week.
  3. Immediately get a laryngoscopy done to examine the nature and mobility of the vocal cords.

Kindly consult a specialist, talk to them, and take the medications with their consent.

I hope this information will help you.

Thank you.
