Take an antibiotic (Amoxicillin and Clavulinic acid) 1 gram twice daily.
Take tablet Brufen (Ibuprofen) 400 mg twice daily as an anti-inflammatory and analgesic for a week.
Immediately get a laryngoscopy done to examine the nature and mobility of the vocal cords.
