Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I tried anal intercourse, but a few weeks later, I started experiencing minor inflammation at the tip of my urethra. There is a slight burning sensation while urinating, a sting in the urethra upon touch, and moderate penile discharge.
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I can understand your concern.
I request you share a picture of the lesion.
If there was unprotected sex, there is a risk for sexually transmitted infection. So, I suggest you do the following tests.
1. TPHA (Treponema pallidum hemagglutination).
2. HPV PCR test (human papillomavirus polymerase chain reaction).
3. HSV-1 and 2 IgG (herpes simplex virus), IgM.
4. Chlamydia trachomitis IgG.
5. HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) screening test.
6. HbsAg (Hepatitis B surface antigen).
7. Urine complete analysis.
In case of a simple bacterial infection, use an antibacterial ointment for local application and take a tablet of Doxy (Doxycycline) 100 milligrams twice daily for five days. In case of itching, apply an ointment Candid B (antifungal) for local application. Make sure you wash your genitalia twice daily and use normal water.
Kindly consult a specialist, talk with them, and take medicines with their consent.
I hope this has helped you.
Thanks and regards.
