Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

After unprotected intercourse, I developed multiple bumps on my vulva, which were not itchy at the time. They eventually expanded into big clusters throughout my vagina, and they now ache severely. I tried various vaginal infection remedies, but none of them worked. I tried Imiquimod lotion, but there was no improvement in the extra skin-like pimples that had covered my vagina. It hurts and itches all at the same time. What should I do?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

It indicates that this is a sexually transmitted disease. This requires antibiotic therapy. Clotrimazole cream by itself will not help you. Here are some of the medications that I suggest you take. Tablet. Doxycycline 100 mg twice daily (Tetracycline), a tablet of Metronidazole 400 mg (antibiotic) three times daily, and tablet an 40 mg (Pantoprazole) twice daily before meals. Use Clingen vaginal pessary (Clindamycin) in case of vaginal discharge. Keep this in your vagina while sleeping. All of this over seven days. Continue to apply the Clotrimazole cream locally. Keep that space clean and dry underwear should be changed twice a day. Avoid wearing undergarments that are too tight. Wear breathable cotton underwear. Do not touch that area again and again. After urinating, wipe and dry the genital area completely. Avoid sexual interactions until the sickness has been cured.

I hope this helps.

Thank you and take care.

Regards.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you, doctor. What should I do about the itch?

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Pain will decrease as the medications begin to act. If the pain is severe, take a tablet of Avil twice a day for five days. Along with your other prescriptions, take a tablet of Fluconazole (Ketoconazole) once a week for four weeks.

I hope this helps you.

Thank you and take care.

Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
