Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I got my second dose of the Pfizer vaccine nine days ago. Four hours after I got it, I started getting a sharp pain in my stomach. Since then, I have had constant stomach pain (dull ache with cramping), which is horrible. I also feel weakness in my legs when I stand. I got a blood test done at the hospital, and the reports are normal. I do not have other medical issues, and I am not taking any other medication. I want to know if this is normal and how long it will last? I am allergic to goat milk and sheep milk. Could this be an allergic reaction? Please help me out. Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Let me begin with the fact that the COVID-19 vaccine, no matter which one you receive, does not have serious side effects on more than 2 % of the recipients. However, if you fall in that 2 percent category, you would have developed much more severe symptoms, and your blood work would have caught it. So your symptoms are related to something else. COVID-19 vaccine side effects do not last for more than ten days. So what I believe is these symptoms will resolve within a few days. Do not worry. You will be completely fine. Hope this helps. Kindly revert in case of further queries. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
