Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am experiencing chronic lupus pain every day which is debilitating and unpredictable and is making day-to-day tasks unbearable. I am always fatigued and tend to take multiple breaks throughout the day. Currently, I am taking Methotrexate and Endone.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You now have exclusive access to expert medical opinion. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing chronic pain and fatigue due to lupus. Lupus is an autoimmune disease that can cause inflammation throughout the body, leading to a range of symptoms, including joint pain, fatigue, and muscle aches.

It is good that you are currently managing your lupus with Methotrexate, which is a medication that can help reduce inflammation in the body. However, it is important to talk to your doctor about your ongoing symptoms, as there may be additional treatments or medications that can help manage your pain and fatigue. In addition to medication, there are some lifestyle changes you can make to help manage your symptoms.

For example, getting regular exercise, such as low-impact activities like walking or yoga, can help reduce pain and improve energy levels. It is also important to get enough sleep and to prioritize self-care, such as taking breaks throughout the day to rest and recharge.

It may also be helpful to connect with a support group for people with lupus or chronic pain, as this can provide a sense of community and help you cope with the challenges of living with a chronic illness. The most important thing is to always keep connected with your doctor.

I hope your query got resolved.

Please feel free to reach out to me again in case of further queries.

Thank you.
