Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have noticed a small pinkish growth in his nose, because of which he has breathing problems. What to do? Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query. I understand your concern. The pinkish growth in the nose will probably be the turbinate. The inferior turbinate is present inside each nasal cavity. The size of the turbinate is dynamic and sometimes may be slightly bigger than the other. The block caused by the turbinates will be only physiological. 1. Also, did you notice a growth on each side of the nose or only one side of the nose? 2. Does your baby snore, have a runny nose, fever, or other associated symptoms? 3. Did he insert anything into his nose unknowingly? 4. Could you please share a picture of the growth for further evaluation? I hope this has helped you. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
