Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 55-year-old female. I am writing to inquire about managing type 2 diabetes, as I have recently been diagnosed with this condition.

  1. Could you provide a comprehensive explanation of type 2 diabetes?
  2. What dietary changes should I consider to help manage my diabetes?
  3. Are there specific foods I should focus on, limit, or avoid?
  4. How can I create a balanced meal plan?
  5. How important is regular physical activity in diabetes management?
  6. What types of exercise are recommended, and how often should I engage in physical activity?
  7. How often should I visit my healthcare provider for diabetes-related check-ups?
  8. What are the potential complications of unmanaged type 2 diabetes, and how can I take steps to prevent them?

Thank you.
