Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had unprotected sex and then took Postinor-2 after four days. I did a pregnancy test the next day morning, and it was negative but felt symptoms of early pregnancy. Does that mean I am pregnant? Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read the query, and I can understand your concern.

Regarding feeling symptoms of pregnancy despite intake of Postinor-2 (Levonorgestrel) after four days of sex, you are a candidate for the possibility of being pregnant. Postinor is an emergency pill within 24 hours, but this is four days after you take it. So, I will advise you to repeat the pregnancy test after one month. Schedule another appointment for follow-up.

I hope this will help you.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
