Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 28-year-old male. I am 5 feet 10 inches tall and weigh about 154 pounds. I am experiencing a problem of urine drops after using the bathroom, especially if unhygienic, which hinders me from performing my prayers.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I recommend following these steps:

  1. Ensure you are taking all measures to maintain proper hygiene.
  2. Use an antiseptic or plain water to wash after using the toilet.
  3. If using a public toilet, carry tissue paper to place on the seat or avoid touching the seat as it may be contaminated from previous use.
  4. Change your undergarments two or three times a day, especially if they are wet.
  5. When bathing, ensure thorough cleansing by pulling back the penile skin.
  6. Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water to keep your urine clear.
  7. Use Citro soda sachets (citric acid, sodium citrate, sodium bicarbonate and tartaric acid) two to three sachets daily in a glass of water to maintain urinary pH (potential of hydrogen) and correct any disturbances.
  8. Maintain a simple diet, avoiding excessive tea, coffee, fried foods, oils, fats, and spices.

How long have you been experiencing this problem? Have a urine complete and urine culture test done to rule out any medical conditions. Visit a physician or general surgeon for examination. You may need a proctoscopy or lower abdomen ultrasound to assess for medical or surgical issues, including a prostate examination.

I hope your queries are resolved, and any further queries are welcome.

Thank you.
