Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My wife is 32 years old. The problem from last three days is that my wife feels excess urine pressure and also a heavy pain in her urinary bladder constantly.

Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

It could be a number of things. Urinary tract infection can be present like that. Hence you need to exclude this first. Is there any chance of pregnancy as the earliest pregnancy signs can be similar to what she has been feeling? If not pregnant, then perhaps, she is nearing the time of her menses as that could feel like pressure and pain down there. The probable causes can be infection, pregnancy, or fibroids. If none of the above, then you could get an ultrasound of the lower abdomen done to rule out cysts. Please get the following investigations done and update me so that we can proceed with treatment.

1. USG of the lower abdomen.

2. Urine routine and microscopic examination.

3. Urine strip test for pregnancy.

Hope it helps.

Thanks and regards.
