I only have a tickling sensation in the clitoris on urination and no pain. Does it require treatment?

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Ever since Thursday of last week, I had been feeling this weird ticklish (not painful nor burning or tingly) sensation around my clitoris towards the end of my urination. There is no foul smell, blood, cloudy-like texture, bubbles, or anything. I do not feel nauseous nor dizzy, nor pain. I feel fairly normal. I would usually pee after every two to four hours, and there had to be regular amounts of urine, not little. Urgency only occurs when I am about to go urinate. I also had protected sex around Friday, but that was the first and last time I did it. I am quite scared or nervous to go for a checkup as well and would like to know what would happen if I neglect this issue. How late is considered too late before it reaches my kidney? I am not on any medication. Kindly give your opinion.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

If it reaches to kidney or the infection becomes severe, then definitely there will be other symptoms as well, such as yellow or cloudy urine, burning sensation while passing urine, frequent urge to pass urine, and sometimes pain. Maybe you have a very mild infection, and it will go. Just drink plenty of fluids and citrus-containing juices, and all it will help to clear the infection.

I would suggest you do a urine routine microscopic test and send me reports. Then we can treat accordingly.

Are there any rashes or itching around the vagina?

Please get back with the report for further help.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
