Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have itching and irritation in the vagina and slight burning in the vulva when I pee. In the clit and vaginal region, there is pain, itching, and inflammation. When touched, there is pain with mild rashes and I get a thick rashes, and a thick, white, odorless vaginal discharge with a cottage cheese appearance. What could be the problem? Please assist.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thanks for trusting us with your health care.

I have gone through your query and understand your concern.

Your symptoms are suggestive of vaginitis, and it is mainly due to a fungal infection. Keep the area dry and clean, drink a lot of warm water and take a soft diet, and use antifungal medicine and cream for application. Wear cotton undergarments, eat more curd and take less sugar. Do not wash your vagina frequently with water. Check your blood sugar.

I hope this helps.

Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
