Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been treated for pelvic inflammatory disease and a simple cyst measuring 2.54 to 2.68 centimeters. I have done all the blood tests like HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) and it was all negative. Even after I have done all of the treatments, why do I still have a bit of clumsy discharge? There are no other symptoms except that I get all dry around the vagina but not inside it and there is peeling as well. I am not taking any medicines now, just completed taking the antibiotics capsule that the doctor gave me.

Please help me.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

As you have already taken the whole treatment of pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) along with other tests like HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) I do not think you require any other treatment for the dryness around the vagina and not inside the vagina. It is basically due to the course which you have taken leading to a decreased immunity. I would suggest you follow medicines which will help you to boost your immunity. You have the clumsy discharge which should also go away and the only thing is that there should not be any foul smell in the discharge. Take the following medicines:

Consult your specialist doctor, talk to them, and take medications after their consent.

1. Tablet Evion (vitamin E) 400 mg once a day for ten days.

2. Tablet Suckcee (vitamin C) to be chewed once a day for ten days.

3. Apply Surfaz-SN (Neomycin, Clotrimazole, and Beclometasone ) ointment locally around the vagina every night for seven days.

I hope I clarified your doubt.

Thanks and regards.

Hello doctor,

It has been one and a half months since my treatment has been done. Are you sure that there is nothing to worry about?

Please clarify my doubt.

Thanks and regards.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I would like to tell you, if there is no foul smell in your discharge then I do not think you have to worry. The second thing is if the discharge does not wet your panty then it should be considered normal. The third thing is to have a good nutritious diet and take the above treatment. Feel free to contact for any other queries.

Thanks and regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
