What could cause constant vaginal discharge in an 18-year-old female?

Hello doctor,

I am 18 years old, and I have been experiencing constant discharge for the past two years. Neither am I pregnant nor have I had any sexual intercourse. I have to wear pantyliners every day because it always gets wet down there. My discharge is always sticky and clear but when it dries, it turns yellow, and it has a sour scent. Also, sometimes my discharge is brownish red, but this does not happen often. When it occurs, it is thin and sticky and has a weird scent. I get it when I am not on my period, and I got my last period two weeks back. I would like to know whether this is normal or if anything is wrong with my body. How do I stop it? When I searched the internet, a majority of information suggested that this could be abnormal, and I would like to know what is wrong. Please help.

Wash your private parts with normal tap water every time you use the washroom.
Maintain personal hygiene.
Avoid using vaginal douches and creams.
