Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am an-18-year-old girl, and I have been experiencing vaginal itching, a slight burning sensation, and some white discharge that resembles curdled milk. It is causing a lot of discomfort, especially when I walk or sit. I am looking for a solution to cure this issue. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understood your concern. According to your description, it appears to be a vaginal infection. I suggest you follow below mentioned treatment:

  1. Take a tablet of Doxycycline 100 mg twice daily.
  2. Take a tablet of Metronidazole 400 mg thrice daily.
  3. Take a tablet of Pantoprazole 40 mg twice daily.

Take these medications for a duration of five days. If you are sexually active, you should also insert the vaginal pessary containing Clindamycin and Clotrimazole at night along with the above-mentioned medicines. Additionally, maintain cleanliness and dryness in the genital area. Change your undergarments twice a day and wash your genital area with intimate area wash product. I hope this has helped you. Kindly follow up if you have more doubts.

Thank you.
