How to take Sildenafil 50 mg?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I want to take Sildenafil 50 mg. Is that advisable? If so, when should I take it? Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

It is a tablet, Sildenafil. These are the instructions to use it. It is orally taken in the form of a tablet. Take it an hour before copulation for best results. However, you can take any time from 4 hours to 30 minutes before the physical union. It is strictly advised not to consume more than once a day. Consult your physician and consume following the prescription. It is usually taken on an empty stomach to improve, and you can consume it after eating bland food. The consumption of this medicine after heavy meals is not so effective. Suppose you have had a heart attack, stroke, or life-threatening irregular heartbeats within the last six months.

People suffering from any other disease or are taking another medicine to treat impotence are not allowed to take this medicine. People over 65 years of age are more likely to experience side effects from this medication. They are advised to take a lower dose by consulting a physician. Women should not take it. Like all medicines, Sildenafil can result in several side effects that are mild-mannered and usually do not last more than a few hours. These side effects are mainly caused by overdose. Types of side effects include headache, flushing of the face, and upset stomach. It is rare, but men have witnessed an erection that lasts too long.

I hope this helps.

Please revert so I can assist you further.

Thank you.
