Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am an 18-year-old female and I have some symptoms, especially headaches, dizziness, pain in my arms and legs, and sometimes I feel like I am going to faint. When my headache is unbearable, I feel like vomiting. I get a headache every morning, and if some kind of pressure comes in contact with my body on that day, it will be painful, but the next day there are red dots on the place where I got hit or some kind of pressure, even from a plastic chair, and those red dots stay for five to six days.
Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Thank you for writing, and I understand your concern.
All these symptoms can be due to vitamin deficiencies. As you mentioned, whenever you get hit, it stays for a while. It can be due to vitamin K deficiency, weakness, dizziness, and fainting, which are usually associated with iron and vitamin B12 deficiency.
So, I would suggest you go for a blood test once. And then you can send me reports. I will check and prescribe medicine to you accordingly. For now, I suggest you take tablets of iron and folic acid once a day before sleeping for 15 days. Please do a complete blood count, vitamin B12, and iron profile test.
Do you have low blood pressure? Did you gain weight recently?
Please let me know if you need any help.
Take care.
Thank you.
