Thank you doctor for the reply,
I do not have any family history of vitiligo. I had an autoimmune disorder where I had some small white spots on my face. I did not come in contact with any chemicals, and the lesions are dry, but not itchy. I did not use any steroid cream in the past, and no other site was involved.

Vitiligo is a chronic skin disease characterized by portions of the skin losing their pigment. It occurs when skin pigment cells die or are unable to function. The cause of leucoderma is unknown, but it might occur due to autoimmune diseases, genetic defects, and oxidative or neural stress.
As per the clinical picture attached (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity), I can see the chalky white patches with focal and local components. I suggest you increase the intake of antioxidants in your diet and take the tablet Pigmento (Psoralea corylifolia, Acorus calamus, Cassia tora, Melia Azadirachta, and Tephrosia purpurea) once daily after food for 30 days.
Please answer the following questions in detail.
- Is any mucosal involvement present?
- Are the lesions spreading?
- Were all the autoimmune parameters checked?
- Have you got the thyroid tests done?
- Do you have any history of photosensitivity?
- Did you undergo any treatment in the past?
- Do you have any drug allergies?

I could not understand the term mucosal involvement. The lesions are not spreading, but they were not noticeable before. I have not got my autoimmune parameters and thyroid profile checked. I did not undergo any treatment in the past. I do not have any history of photosensitivity or drug allergy.
