Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I had severe, painful cramps during my period, which worsened, causing uncontrollable discharge of clear, odorless fluid that spilled on my clothes. I could not hold that liquid. I have never had any sexual activity with a partner. I am very scared. What could it be?
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I went through your query and understood your concern.
It seems you have menstrual irregularities that could be due to hormonal imbalances caused by PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome). PCOS is an endocrinal disorder in which hormonal imbalance occurs due to cysts in the ovary, facial hair growth, and even weight gain. As it is a lifestyle disease, I suggest you change your lifestyle, eat a high-protein diet with lots of vegetables and fruits, and exercise regularly. I also suggest getting your hemoglobin, HbA1c (glycated hemoglobin), and TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) levels checked. I also suggest you take Progesterone for withdrawal bleeding.
Kindly consult a specialist, talk with them, and take medicines with their consent.
I hope this has helped you.
Thanks and regards.
