Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a 40-year-old woman focused on losing weight and improving my fitness. I have been consistent with my gym routine, incorporating weight training exercises.
However, over the past few weeks, I have experienced persistent pain in my right shoulder, particularly during activities like the lying down chest press. Interestingly, the discomfort does not affect me during periods of rest.
I am concerned that ignoring the pain could worsen the situation, but I am also hesitant to abandon my fitness journey.
I am seeking guidance on whether it is safe to continue exercising despite the shoulder pain. Will pushing through exacerbate the issue, or can I persevere without causing further harm?
Kindly help.
Thank you.

I hope this information helps.
Thank you.
