What causes a decrease in absolute neutrophil count and WBC count?

Hello doctor,
I am concerned about low absolute neutrophils and WBC. I have had two blood tests. The first was six months ago, which showed my absolute neutrophil level was 2100 per microliter of blood and dropped to 1700 per microliter of blood after 15 days when I checked the blood for the second time. Also, my WBC count was 4100 per microliter of blood, dropping by 3500 per microliter of blood. I have had headaches almost every day and severe bouts of being dizzy. No other symptoms. Should I be worried?

Your absolute neutrophil count does not seem to be decreased much. Usually, it can be considered low if AEC (absolute eosinophil count) is below 150 per microliter of blood. Your total count is low as per your history. Sometimes the infection can lead to low WBC (white blood cell) count and low neutrophil count. Autoimmune disease, viral infections, drug-induced radiation, etc., are some causes of neutropenia. Kindly provide me your full CBC (complete blood count) report so that I can check other parameters as well, like hemoglobin, differential count, platelet count, etc. So attach it herewith for giving more comment. Provide any specific clinical history also if present as fever, bleeding, enlarged lymph nodes, etc.
