Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and understand your concern about your symptoms.
I want to tell you that if your transvaginal scan is normal, then have generalized health care, lifestyle, and better recreational activities. As advised, you should have continuous follow-ups, precautions, and medications for your varicose veins. For general body health, have a healthy nutritious diet, have vegetables, fruits, plenty of water, have less salt, sugar, spices, and oil. Have a daily walk, do yoga or exercise daily and maintain a good BMI (body mass index). Have physiotherapy before you get pain, especially in the case of varicose veins, and about the vaginal discharge, if checked recently and has no significant findings, it could be genetic, due to stress, anxiety, or at ovulation, before menses. So, do not over-treat it.
If the swab test is normal, there is no need to over-treat. Have strict hygiene, wear soft, comfortable undergarments, and use water for local cleaning, not cosmetic or chemical products. A transvaginal scan was done recently, and it is not significant. Then it could be due to previous cervical treatment or any remaining infection. But your pap (Papanicolaou test) smear was also normal. I suggest taking the tablet Doxycycline 100 mg twice daily and Metronidazole 400 mg thrice daily for seven days. These medications will help with the discharge as well if it is related to any pelvic infection. Check for endometriosis (uterine tissue outside the uterus) as well. Pain at sex might be due to previously treated cervix or any other developing endometriosis but check symptoms properly near and during menses. Then discuss again if not having an effect after taking medications as advised above. Quit recreational drugs. Have complete treatment of any health issue you have with a respective specialist.
I hope this helps.
Regards.
