Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am struggling with reoccurring yeast infection used several drugs and herbs and my ovulation is not stable I do not get the ovulation discharge. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com

I read your query and understand your concern. Recurring yeast infections and unstable ovulation can be frustrating and concerning. There are a few general tips that may help:

1. Keep the area clean and dry: Avoid using harsh soaps or douches and opt for gentle, fragrance-free cleansers. After bathing or swimming, make sure to thoroughly dry the genital area.

2. Wear breathable clothing: Choose underwear made of natural fibers, such as cotton, and avoid tight-fitting pants or synthetic materials that can trap moisture and heat.

3. Avoid irritants: Steer clear of products that may irritate the genital area, such as scented tampons, pads, or harsh detergents. It's also advisable to avoid excessive use of antibiotics unless prescribed.

4. Practice good hygiene: Wipe from front to back after using the bathroom to prevent the spread of bacteria from the anal area to the vagina.

5. Probiotics: Some studies suggest that certain probiotics may help restore the balance of vaginal flora.

Regarding the issue of unstable ovulation and absence of ovulation discharge, irregularities in ovulation can have various causes, such as hormonal imbalances, stress, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), or other underlying health conditions. You need a thorough workup for the same. Feel free to contact me for further queries.

Thank you.
