What are the non-surgical treatments for lumbar lordosis?

Hello doctor,

I have a back pain which has made me stay in bed for two weeks. Now the pain has reduced but I have very limited movement, just to go to the bathroom but still, there is a pain when I want to stand up. I did the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) test, the result was showing lumbar lordosis is decreased with scoliosis, disc dehydration and small central disc protrusion are seen at L3 to L4 level, disc dehydration and left paracentral disc extrusion are seen at L4 to L5 level with moderate central canal stenosis, disc dehydration and central disc protrusion are seen at L5 to S1 level with lateral recess stenosis and S1 nerve root impression. Please advise the best treatment option according to my situation, preferably non-surgery option.

Please clarify my MRI report.

Hi doctor,

Around four weeks ago, I drove for three hours. I had pain in my abdomen that had spread to my spine. I had to crawl everywhere for one week as I could not walk. The pain has reduced, but still I am uncomfortable. I have been advised by my doctor not to work until I consult a specialist as it could be serious. I had back pain in the past, but never for this long period of time. My current medications are Ibuprofen and Paracetamol with Codeine. I hope you can help me with my MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) report. The comment at the end of my MRI lumbar spine says: Moderate central stenosis with indentation of anterior cord at T11-T12, possibly with an area of cord edema or myelomalacia. I have been referred to a neurosurgeon. Could you please clarify the results and my condition? Is there anything serious?

My arm has become stiff due to cervical spondylosis. How to get it treated?

Hi doctor,

I am 55 years old. I have been diagnosed with cervical spondylosis due to wear and tear on my dehydrated spinal discs. My pain is in my neck and arm. I have occasional fevers and night sweats. I am already using a cervical collar for a week now. I am using a hard collar during the day and a soft collar at night. I am undergoing physiotherapy, which includes infrared ray treatment and neck traction. Until two weeks ago, I used to swim 30 minutes a day for five days a week. However, the biggest challenge I am facing now is my left arm. My left arm is so weak and stiff. I cannot raise my left arm up and across while sitting. It can be done only when I am lying down. I had chronic fatigue syndrome about ten years ago and recovered significantly. My current medication includes Lyrica 75 mg, Tramadol BP 50 mg, and Clofenac 50 mg. Could you give an indication of how long my recovery will take?
