What does a 20 mm follicle signify on day five of menses?
Hi doctor,
I am a female weighing 143 lbs and my height is 5'6". A 20 mm follicle was found on day five of menstruation, what does it mean? I had cramp since day four till day six. Last month 5.7 mm hemorrhagic cyst was found on left ovary during day three but this month it got disappeared and now 20 mm follicle found on right ovary. Please help me to understand what exactly is this. Is this normal to find such a large follicle on day five? Actually I would like to get pregnant.

Why is there a pain in the lower abdomen in a pregnant lady?

My wife is 31 years and she is in her sixth month of pregnancy. For past one week, she is feeling mild pain in her left thigh region near to lower abdomen. Can hemorrhoids during pregnancy affect the delivery?

I am 9 months pregnant. I am nearing my due date. I have developed piles during pregnancy. Initially it was fine, but now it has become big, swollen and painful. Can you suggest a remedy for it? Is it possible to have a normal delivery due to piles? Please give me a suitable solution, so that I can ask my doctor in advance for a C-section or normal whichever is suitable. Should I restrict any kind of food? I also had gestational diabetes but now it is under control.

I have pelvic pains with migraines. Am I ovulating?

I am a 42 year old female, and I was diagnosed with POF, a year after I had my first child. I took HRT for about two years, and I gave up all hopes of conceiving. However, from the past 6 to 7 months, I am having pelvic pains with migraines and back pains for 3 to 4 days. Sometimes, it lasts longer from the 15th to 20th of each month. Could I have been ovulating or am I sick?
