Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have been experiencing an ongoing issue on my forehead, T-zone, and particularly in the area between my eyebrows. While I occasionally get more prominent zits that respond to treatment, the smaller acne-like spots persist, as seen in the photos. Despite attempting extraction and facials, these spots remain and do not seem to fade. During extraction, small white beads emerge. I am uncertain about the best course of action and would appreciate guidance on how to proceed.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

These symptoms seem indicative of hormonal acne with seborrhea.

To manage, consider the following:

1. Stress Reduction: Avoid stress, as it is a significant contributing factor to acne.

2. Skin Care: Refrain from scratching or rubbing the lesions. Apply Acnesol gel at night for 20 days. Wash your face with Sebamed face wash twice daily for 20 days.

3. Cosmetic Use: Avoid oily and greasy cosmetic products. Limit the use of cosmetics and makeup.

4. Nutrition: Consume a diet rich in greens, vitamin A, vitamin C, and antioxidants.

5. Environmental Factors: Minimize exposure to dust, pollutants, animal dander, and pollens.

6. Hydration: Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

Looking forward to your response in order to help you.

Thank you.
