Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I need help with my acne. I have blackheads and moderate pustules on my face. I tried every product, and there is nothing that seems to work. I have acne-prone, oily skin. Currently, I am using a mild hydrating facial cleanser twice a day and a mild hydrating exfoliating face wash alternatively. I am also doing a topical treatment for the affected areas using products containing Glycolic acid, Zinc oxide, Niacinamide, Salicylic acid, and Vitamin E. Please suggest me helpful tips to clear up the acne that I have been fighting for the past few years.

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query and understood your concern.

Acne is common in your age and often gets aggravated due to stress, periods, fast food, and cosmetics. I suggest you apply only one anti-acne cream and then stick to it for at least two to three months. I suggest you apply Clindamycin (antibiotic) gel twice daily on pimples. I also suggest you use a mild facial cleanser, drink lots of water, and avoid junk food.

Kindly consult a specialist doctor, talk with them, and take medicines with their consent.

I hope this has helped you.

Thanks and regards.
