Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am on no medications. I drink a ton of water, eat the right food. I do not eat pork. I still eat candy every now and then but usually milk chocolate. I wash my face every night. I use a toner and an ultra moisturizing face lotion. My face gets dry really fast if I do not. I still have these bumps all over my face. They cannot pop. My skin has the texture of a rugged road instead of baby soft. Even now my face is dry. I do not know what to do.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through your case. First, you need to understand that there are many different types of acne and you are having comedones type of acne. And unfortunately, this type is a little difficult to treat. And you are right, these add roughness to the skin. Please use Cetaphil cleanser. Apply Adapalene gel in very little amount only in very little amount (size of a pea for the whole face) apply only at night. Do not take too much or you will have irritation. Apply for two hours only at night. Surrounding skin lesion will be fine after absorption. Take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
