Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have eye allergy from the past 15 years due to vernal conjunctivitis. I am under Cromolyn 0.4 % for it. Kindly advice.

Answered by Dr. Rahul Vaswani

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Along with Cromolyn, start Moxifloxacin plus Loteprednol eye drop four times a day for three days. Taper it to two times a day for the next five days. Then taper to once at bedtime for the next five days. Also, start Refresh tears eye drop every two hours continuously for a month.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I used Fluorometholone with Cromolyn. It worked but caused some dryness at the end of the day. Sometimes I used Lotepred 0.2 % which seems less useful. Should I use Lotepred 0.5 %?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You can use Lotepred but use it according to the regime I have told you. Do not over use it without doctors advice.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
