Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a virgin. I never had a pap smear and did not take any contraceptives. Two weeks ago, I gave my boyfriend a handjob and got semen all over my hand. I wiped off my hands with a towel after washing them with a little soap and water, not thoroughly. I took him home 20 to 30 minutes later. A little after that, I was feeling fine and masturbated but he did not go inside my vagina but got in contact with the fluid. And It has been a week since now I have not got my periods. I did not have a headache or nausea, but I am getting a lot of fluid from my vagina. Should I be worried? Am I pregnant? How long does sperm last outside the body, and can it be alive after it got remoistened with my fluid? Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have read your query and understand your concern. Touching or rubbing the vagina will not cause pregnancy. Sperms cannot be alive once washed with soap. So relax and do not worry. However, if you have doubts, get a urine pregnancy test with an early morning urine sample to ensure you are not pregnant. Please get back to me with reports so I can guide you further.
Thank you.
