Is it safe to have anal sex?

There is slight bleeding after anal sex. I had a drop-by-drop bleeding the next morning after passing stool.

You have had mild trauma due to penetration in the anal sphincter which is causing bleeding.

You will need to follow few steps:

Sitz bath which means, putting three tablespoons of common salt in a small tub of lukewarm water and placing your butt in it for 10 minutes morning and evening for a week.
Take a high-fiber diet in the form of fresh fruits and vegetables.
If you get constipated, then take liquid sodium picosulfate two teaspoons at bedtime and avoid straining in the toilet. Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with him or her and start taking the medicines with their consent.

If both partners are STD-free, then there is no problem. However, if done for months together, it will loosen the sphincter and anal tone. Vaginal sex with protection is better than anal.
