Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 27 years old and really worried about developing anaphylaxis to a local anesthetic. Even though I have had it twice without any problems, I would just like some information on how likely this is to happen and some information to help me put my mind to rest and stop worrying.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Anaphylaxis may last lifelong. Also, if you have not experienced a severe reaction in the past, you are unlikely to develop the same in future. Do not worry. Just be aware and keep rescue medicine always with you as standby.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
