This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I want to grow more hair and hair thickness and avoid losing hair and thinning hair. Please check my pictures and advise me a perfect solution.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. Your condition is known as androgenetic alopecia or male pattern baldness, which has genetic as well as hormonal factors as the causative factors. You need to use treatment for this condition regularly and it takes about 3 to 4 months to start showing the results as hair cycle itself takes this much time.

Start the following medications:

A. Tablet Finpecia/Propecia 1 mg, take one tablet once a day.

B. Rogaine (Minoxidil) 5 % lotion apply half a teaspoon twice a day.

C. Nizoral shampoo three days per week.

Do this initially for two months and follow up after that.

Thank you.
