Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 23-year-old female on no medications. Recently, I have been having random pains in my ankle and finger. I know it is really random, but my finger has a small knot on it that is getting bigger but is still very small. It is also a greenish under the skin. My affected ankle is swollen twice as much as my other ankle. They both hurt so much when I touch or press them very slightly, and the pain is random. I am worried because it has been present for the past three weeks. I am just wondering what it could be.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understood your concern and will help you with your query. You have to take X-rays of the ankle with anteroposterior and lateral view along with X-rays of the hand with anteroposterior and oblique view. Follow up with X-rays images because diagnosis can be made only after X-rays , You need to take the following medicines, I suggest you the following medicines: Tablet Ibuprofen 400 mg twice daily in the morning and at night for 10 days after food. Tablet Rabeprazole 20 mg twice daily in the morning and at night for 10 days before food. Tablet Shelcal 500 mg (Calcium and Vitamin D3) twice daily in the morning and at night for 30 days before food. Tablet Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) 60000 IU once daily for 10 days and then once in a month for 11 months. Take these tablets only if you think you are not allergic to them. Do not take these tablets if you have bronchial asthma. I hope this has helped you. Please follow up if you have more doubts.

Thank you.
