Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am suffering from severe anxiety attacks, palpitations and weakness. I am going through a lot of mood swings and hence I am overthinking.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You might be suffering from an anxiety problem. There is a non-pharmacological treatment for it. I recommend that you follow the instructions provided below as they will help you.

  1. Exercise for 30 to 45 minutes every day, such as going for a walk.

  2. Do 20 minutes of meditation every day, simply sit in one location in a comfortable position and attempt to concentrate on your natural breathing, do not stop or force yourself to stop your thoughts; simply let them be. It will make you feel better and less anxious.

  3. Eat nutritious home-cooked meals and avoid junk food.

  4. Drink plenty of water.

  5. Spend meaningful time with friends and family on a daily basis, or use video chats if you live far away from your family.

  6. Spend time on creative activities such as reading good novels, journaling, painting, sketching, and acquiring new skills, languages, or musical instruments.

  7. Get 7 to 8 hours of sleep every day.

  8. Avoid using tobacco, alcohol, or any other drug.

Do not simply spend your life, live it.

    Be bold and confident.

If your problems remain after 4 to 6 weeks of following the recommendations, you should begin taking medications for a short time.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you.
