Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 14 years old. I usually experience these symptoms in my daily life. I have a habit of worrying more about things that ordinary people will not worry about it. I easily get traumatized. There was a minor earthquake in the midnight a couple of weeks ago. Now, whenever I sit, my mind starts to think about the shaking. I also find some loud rumbling noise always triggering me. I usually get a panic attack when I am doing something and when everyone does their work and leaving me. It gives me massive anxiety. I feel uncomfortable to express my feelings, even to my parents. I am feeling down constantly for no reason. I have an uncontrollable temper. I also have a feeling that I am a hypocrite person. I have mood swings, and I am oversensitive. I get criticized, and I think of the person who criticizes me will hate me forever. When I feel depressed, I start to cry. Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You seem to be suffering from anxiety disorder (may be a generalized anxiety disorder or panic disorder or both, a specific diagnosis can be made after detailed discussion). Some anxious personality traits are developing in you. The people with this type of problems are oversensitive, and they are unable to handle criticism. They are afraid to express their emotions due to their insecurities, and they always have apprehensive expectations regarding the future. Try to do deep breathing exercise for 10 minutes daily in the morning and evening. Do a regular physical activity for 20 to 30 minutes. Always follow sleep hygiene. Eat a healthy nutritious diet. You have to consult a psychiatrist soon. I hope this helps. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
