Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have been stressed out for the last two days. I had slept with a troubled mind the night before. In my sleep, I experienced chest pain and shortness of breath. This morning I woke up with chest pain. I woke up feeling weak. I feel my heart pumping weaker than before. I was an active person, and a similar event had never happened. I am really worried that stress has caused permanent damage to the heart. Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

You are having anxiety issues. Anxiety presents with symptoms like chest pain and shortness of breath. I suggest you engage in yoga, eat healthily, and get six to seven hours of sleep. Hopefully, in two to four weeks, you will be better. If not, please revert. You might need medication.

I hope this information will help you. Please revert in case of more queries.

Thank you.

Regarding follow up

Revert in three weeks if there is no improvement.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
